The General Chiropractic Council (GCC) is the body established by parliament to regulate and develop the chiropractic profession. It's a criminal offence for anyone to call themselves a chiropractor if they're not registered with the GCC.

The CPA raises funds to support chiropractic research in order to advance knowledge, such that patients benefit both in treatment, rehabilitation and aftercare.

The McTimoney Animal Association is the professional association for McTimoney Animal Practitioners. All members have completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Animal Manipulation from the McTimoney Chiropractic College. This is currently the only validated course in Europe in teaching techniques for adjusting animals.
